About Us
Our principal, Leslie S. Edwards, has three decades of experience as an archivist in non-profit, government, and historical archives, as well as in public library environments. As a public historian and family history researcher, she has been providing professional research services for families with ancestors across the U.S., Canada, the British Isles, France, Italy, and Eastern Europe for over forty years.
Additionally, Historica Research provides consulting and research services for a variety of personal and non-profit clients. For every research project, we focus on original source documentation in all facets of the research process.

Discover your Ancestors
Who are your ancestors? What story do they have to tell? Genealogy builds your family tree with names, dates, and places. Family history research goes beyond the basic facts and tells us more about the lives our ancestors lived. How did they thrive in their environments? Or did conditions beyond their control encourage them to forge new paths? Did they follow others or strike out on their own? We will pull details from original documents to help construct a rich, detailed story of your family within a cultural and historical context.
